Leicester All Play All - 23/24/25 August + 6/7 September 2008
 

A 9 round FIDE rated round robin event, giving great chess to rated and unrated players alike. This is a perfect opportunity to get a FIDE rating in one event (just in time for the start of the new 4NCL season).
 

Leicester Chess Congress (H E Atkins Memorial) – 10/11/12 October 2008

A 5 round weekender with a FIDE rated open which has a British Championship Qualifying Place, set in a great playing hall just 5 minutes from the City Centre.
 

Milton Keynes Chess Congress - 14/15/16 November 2008

A 5 round weekender with a FIDE rated open (again, a British Championship Qualifier), set in a fine hotel with great discounted rates and big prize money.
